Well it would be boring if it was to easy right?
Antoine (6.5 year old) came down with fever overnight, which meant I was going to have to keep him home, along with Jacob (9 months). Problem is, given the fact it was Jude's first day going back, she could not drop Emily to the daycare, so I decided to keep them all three. This is was I call baptism by fire!
I have a hunch I might be ready to go back to work within a week...
Joking aside, I did call the office first thing in the morning, and I teased them by asking: How are you holding up? Response was the the first 20 minutes were fine so far...
Anyway, so far, not too bad. Jacob will want to be in my arms quite often but with Emily and Antoine to play with him, it's not too frequent, hence my having the time to type this (mind you Jacob is asleep and the two others are wathing a movie) Talking about plugging the kids in front of a movie, does that make me a bad father? Surely some of you will have an opinion, but let me just say this, there is so much for them to learn in watching a good animation. For instance, how can they get an animated princess to move? It took me an hour to get them to draw one. How am I supposed to teach them to create animated cartoons?!!
Will report back later if I have a chance
